The Food: Well known by locals, Yogee Noodle is renown for its home-made beef stew noodle soup and one of kind hot chili oil, which is a well kept family secret. Other home made items that must be tasted include the freshly made coconut milk drink, the sweet sugar cane drink and the traditional Chinese herbal tea. With twenty six different kinds of noodle soups, ranging from beef stew and beef balls to shredded pork and pickled cabbage, fans will tell you that their noodle soups are simply the best. Aside from noodles, other great dishes include their tasty Salt and Pepper Baked Squid, Spare Ribs with Black Bean Sauce, and Braised E-Fu Noodles with Black Mushrooms. Like many Chinatown restaurants, there is a large range of choices to appeal to every taste, including a well prepared Peking Duck. The good food, generous portions and inexpensive prices have kept customers pleased for many years. The Atmosphere: Founded 20 years ago with six tables and a limited menu, this family owned restaurant became a popular place with locals, with long lines of eager diners a common sight. The family finally got the message and remodeled and expanded the place 3 years ago. Glossy bamboo panels line the exterior walls, making it easy to spot from a distance. The menu also underwent change and today, it has an extensive array of Hong Kong style Cantonese dishes and noodle soups.
