Ten Ren means "heavenly love" and once you enter this premium tea shop, you will know just how aptly named it is. This classically-beautiful space is a vibrant working-museum of Chinese culture at its highest. Now in business for 20 years, the owners, Mark and Ellen Lii have four branches in the Metro New York area. Ten Ren is recognized for its quality tea products, efficient operation, and great customer service and has won numerous awards in Taiwan and the U.S. It offers toll free phone ordering, e-commerce, gift packaging and shipping. Patronized by a host of celebrities such as former President Bush and the First Lady, George Pataki, Mario Cuomo, Rudy Giuliani, Michael Douglas, Martin Yan, and An Lee, Ten Ren is one of the best known stores in Chinatown.

The Goods:

Ten Ren specializes in tea, ginseng and Yi-Xing tea ware, selling both retail and wholesale With 400 plus affiliate family tea stores in China, the Lii's have an ample supply of fresh teas from China where they regularly conduct tea hunts. Their private label Wisconsin ginseng, the medicinal root that Chinese physicians call the 'King of Herbs', is in much demand. To please tea gourmands, Ten Ren frequently imports new varieties of teas and tea ware products. Recent acquisitions are: Mao Feng, Tie Guan Yin, White Tea, Lung Ching Tea, and Spring Tea. The store offers beautiful packaging, making a gift of Ten Ren tea a wonder to behold.
