Yao's Dragon Beard Candy (long tzi tang)
You can catch Mr. Yao, a 2010 Vendy Awards Dessert Finalist, in Chinatown from April to October. He learned the craft from his grandfather, and the traditional candy is made from finely-spun sugar. The end product looks like silkworm cocoons - delicate. Don't miss it.
