Chinese-American Planning Council, Inc. Launches National Search for President & Chief Executive Officer

Chinese-American Planning Council, Inc. (CPC) and its affiliate organizations announced the launch of their search for the next President & Chief Executive Officer to succeed Janice Won who has been serving as Interim President & Chief Executive Officer. Since Spring 2015, Ms. Won has successfully led the organization through a leadership transition.

The Chinatown YMCA is seeking a qualified individual who will supervise the Hospitality Agents and ensure quality control in all areas within the Membership Department, including point of sale transactions, staffing and member hospitality, administrative processes, and systems and audit preparation. The incumbent will work with the Membership Sales & Engagement Director to provide administrative direction/leadership to achieve budgeted goals.

It ain't easy to get a leg up in New York: it seems that the city grows more expensive with every passing day. Even small, cheap pleasures such as the now-fading "dollar dumpling deal" are going the way of the dodo: as recently as a few years ago, Chinatown was littered with hole-in-the wall dumpling spots where you could grab five fried porky beauties for just a buck.
