Hester Street Fair - Open EVERY Saturday

Hester Street Fair, located in a beautiful park setting, was once home to New York City's largest and oldest pushcart markets. The fair's mission is not only to sell quality goods and food, but to also create a space that reflects the dynamic energy of the Lower East Side.

Hester Street Fair is open every Saturday from 10am-6pm. To get there by subway take the F train to East Broadway or the FJMZ train to Delancey Street. The fair is located at the intersection of Essex and Hester Street.

"Daydreamer+" at Kumble Theater 

Tap dance troupe fuses world music and traditional Taiwanese culture - July 12-15

Dance Works in association with the Taipei Cultural Center of TECO in New York present"Daydreamer+" at LIU Brooklyn's Kumble Theater. The exciting Taiwanese tap dance company uses their tap shoes as instruments, taking the audience on a daydreamer's musical journey. Watch a video preview HERE


Choreographed by Rex Peng, "Daydreamer+" incorporates tap dancing, percussion, new media technologies and music from across the world, including India, South Africa and eastern China.

"Daydreamer+" will run Thursday, July 12, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, July 13, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, July 14, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, July 15, at 3 p.m.
